About the Role

What You'll Do

• Welcome guests with genuine, friendly service and create a positive café experience from start to finish


• Prepare and serve food, coffee, beverages, and alcoholic drinks following recipes and service standards


• Educate guests on menu offerings and help them choose what fits their taste and needs


• Prep ingredients, assemble menu items, and cook according to food quality and safety guidelines


• Keep front‑ and back‑of‑house spaces clean, organized, and stocked


• Monitor food quality, temperature, and presentation to meet company standards


• Communicate inventory needs and help reduce waste through smart food handling


• Collaborate with café leadership on menu ideas and operational improvements


• Follow all safety, sanitation, and administrative procedures

What You Bring

• Have 5+ years of professional experience, including at least 2 years serving and/or cooking


• Are 21+ years old with a valid Utah Alcohol Server Permit


• Hold a current food handler's permit


• Have barista experience (or strong interest) and enjoy working with coffee


• Thrive in fast‑paced environments and stay calm under pressure


• Communicate clearly, multitask well, and enjoy working as part of a team


• Can work nights, weekends, and variable shifts


• Are comfortable standing for long periods and lifting up to 30 lbs


• Care deeply about hospitality, consistency, and guest experience
