Job Description:

We are seeking a reliable and dedicated temporary Cafeteria Monitor to join our team in a school setting. The ideal candidate will have experience working with school-age children and will be responsible for ensuring a safe and positive dining environment for students during lunch hours. This position follows the school year calendar, Monday through Friday.

Key Responsibilities:

- Supervise students during lunch periods to ensure safety and appropriate behavior.

- Assist students as needed, promoting a positive dining experience.

- Monitor the cafeteria environment, ensuring cleanliness and order.

- Communicate effectively with students, staff, and parents.

- Enforce school policies and procedures in a fair and consistent manner.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience working with school-age children is required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with staff and students.
• Reliable and punctual with a strong sense of responsibility.
• Ability to handle conflicts and resolve issues calmly and effectively.
• Ability to stand, walk, and move around the cafeteria or playground for extended periods. 
•  Light lifting and cleaning tasks required.
