Job Description - Cage/ Vault Associate- Rock and Brews Casino

Qualifications: Potential employee must have a high school diploma or GED equivalent. Required: to pass an extensive, background check in accordance with Kaw Nation Gaming Commission regulations to obtain a gaming license. Must have some register and money handling experience. Must be able to stand, bend and sit for extended periods and vision must be adequate to read small print on reports. Frequent lifting may occasionally be required to lift more than 50 pounds. Requires continuous use of hands / fingers to separate, sort, count currency and coins. Must be able to take directions well, implement changes, and work within a small, enclosed area with others as a team.

Responsibilities and Duties

Cage/Vault associates are responsible for superior guest service, the intake of tickets, cashing out quickly and correctly while following all proper protocol. Also counting cashier banks, reconciliation of individual banks and balance of the Vault within procedures.

Responsible for counting beginning bank, final bank and running reports for completing proper paperwork accurately.

Must be able to write legibly.

Flexibility with varying shifts for business needs.

Building cashier banks and deposits for each shift.

Conducting an accurate inventory or audit.

Ability to work either cage or vault areas.

Responsible for monitoring, cleaning, and stocking work area

Must be able to stand long periods of time. Bending and lifting are required.

Responsible for all transactions being entered correctly.

Ensures that exceptional internal and external guest service standards are always number one.

Always maintain a professional appearance and demeanor.

Be courteous and professional at all, times to co-workers, guests, vendors, or anyone you may have contact with while on duty.

Must wear your gaming badge at all, times while on duty or conducting company business in the casino.

Must comply with any duties that may be assigned by Management.
