Job Description - Call Center Representative


JACARANDA SMILES is a Fun, Fast paced dental office that is a state of the art facility in Broward County.


We are looking for a pleasant CALL CENTER REPRESENTATIVE to undertake all new patient and existing patient calls, as well as clerical duties in our call center. You will be the “voice” of the company for all new patient phone calls and will be responsible for the first impression we make.


The ideal candidate will have a friendly and easy going personality while also being very perceptive and disciplined. You should be able to deal with complaints and give accurate information. A customer-oriented approach is essential.


RESPONSIBILITIES:



  • Answer all incoming calls

  • Answer questions and address complaints

  • Respond to all messages thru text messaging systems and Facebook

  • Verify insurances

  • Check, sort and forward emails

  • Keep updated records and files

  • Route calls to specific people

  • Answer inquiries about company

  • Gather personal and insurance information

  • Send emails and faxes

  • Take and relay messages

  • Update appointment calendars

  • Schedule appointments

  • Keep record of reports


REQUIREMENTS:



  • Spanish Speaker is a plus.

  • Multi-tasker with attention to detail

  • Outgoing/positive attitude. Smile!

  • Loves working with children

  • Proven experience as front desk representative, agent or relevant position

  • Familiarity with office machines (e.g. fax, printer etc.)

  • Knowledge of office management and basic bookkeeping

  • Proficient in English (oral and written)

  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office (especially Excel and Word)

  • Strong communication and people skills

  • Good organizational and multi-tasking abilities

  • Problem-solving skills

  • Customer service orientation
