Call Center Representative ($22/hr) - Urgent Position

Patient Call Center for a Primary Care

Type: temp to hire

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:30am-5:00pm

• Assist with patient scheduling and registration.

Qualifications:

• Equal to completion of four years of high school required
• Strong computer skills are required and must type at least 35 WPM
• Very good organizational skills are required
• Ability to listen and document simultaneously is required

Responsibilities:

• Call Center Patient Access Specialist to perform a variety of duties to facilitate patient access to physician practice Network under the general direction of the Manager, Team Leader, or designee.
• Answering incoming calls to facilitate entering orders
• Assist with patient scheduling and registration
• Enter prescriptions for the physician’s review
• Documentation of phone contact with patient
• Management of the electronic faxes
• Release of information compliance
• Inform patients of test results
• As well as any other tasks assigned to the Call Center.
