Position Overview

Ace Wrecker Service is seeking a reliable and customer-focused Call Taker for our 24/7 dispatch center. In this role, you'll answer incoming calls, gather information from customers, and enter service requests for towing and roadside assistance. The ideal candidate is professional, detail-oriented, and able to stay calm in a fast-paced environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Answer incoming customer calls in a professional manner.


• Gather accurate information for towing, recovery, and roadside service requests.


• Enter service requests into our dispatch system.


• Verify customer, vehicle, and location information.


• Communicate call details to dispatchers.


• Provide updates and assistance to customers as needed.


• Maintain accurate records and call notes.


• Follow company procedures and protect confidential information.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.


• Strong customer service and communication skills.


• Basic computer and data-entry skills.


• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.


• Dependable attendance and punctuality.


• Availability to work assigned shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.


• Previous call center, dispatch, customer service, or administrative experience.


• Experience with towing, roadside assistance, or transportation operations is a plus.
