Camera Operator/Editor, Barkley Films

The Editor for Barkley Films is an experienced creative with a love for perfecting an edit and ensuring the best version of the work always rises to the top. Barkley Films is a creative collective of video creators within BarkleyOKRP. This role requires you to work on a scale of work from high profile consumer facing work to leading the creation of content for new business pitches and internal BarkleyOKRP needs.  

Responsibilities:

• You have a strong ability to think creatively and strategically.


• You are a creative partner to our creative and social teams in creating video assets.


• Provide invaluable creative input on all creative and throughout the production process.


• Responsible for editing videos, per specifications of each  job.


• Work with producers and the creative teams to screen cuts and address internal and client feedback in a timely and collaborative fashion throughout the approval process.


• Addresses all agency and/or client edit changes with quality output, clear communication and schedule in mind.


• Archives all footage, assets and project files per company process during each job.


• Acts as mentor to more junior Barkley Films team members


• Owns any other duties/responsibilities assigned by supervisor.


• Maintains all equipment used.

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of editing experience.


• Must also be proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Adobe Premiere.  


• Must be cool and calm under pressure, have the ability to manage tight timelines, and have a diplomatic and problem-solving attitude under stressful situations. 


• Must have an ability and hunger to communicate through the medium of video.


• Must be detail oriented, able to multi-task, and a self-starter.


• Experience with 2D motion a plus.


• Experience with color correction and color treatment preferred.


• Experience with music selection preferred.


• Must have experience with cameras, composition, and lighting.
