Position Summary

As a Housekeeping Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining the impeccable standards of cleanliness that our guests have come to expect. You’ll lead a dedicated team, ensuring that every corner of Camp Lucy shines and feels welcoming. In this fun and dynamic role, you will embody "The Whim Way" by caring deeply for our guests and team, owning your responsibilities, staying curious in your approach, and elevating every experience for our visitors.

Responsibilities

Supervise with Heart: Train, motivate, and lead the housekeeping staff, ensuring they feel valued and empowered to deliver exceptional service.

Own the Cleanliness: Oversee daily cleaning operations, ensuring guest rooms, venues, and public areas are maintained to Camp Lucy’s high standards of cleanliness and warmth.

Curiosity in Action: Allocate daily cleaning assignments based on business needs, encouraging team members to share ideas for improving our processes and guest experiences.

Elevate Every Detail: Conduct inspections to guarantee that rooms and facilities reflect the polish and professionalism that Camp Lucy is known for, making every guest feel at home from the moment they arrive.

Support the Team: Create a secure and organized environment for your team by managing inventory and following procedures for lost and found items.

Hands-On Leadership: Jump in to perform housekeeping or support functions when necessary, showing your commitment to teamwork and guest satisfaction.

Celebrate Success: Recognize and reward team members for their excellent performance, fostering a culture of appreciation and belonging.

Communicate with Intent: Maintain effective communication with the Lodging Manager and other departments to create a seamless experience for our guests.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

  Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus!

  Strong leadership and team management skills that inspire others.

  Ability to lift 30–50 lbs, ensuring readiness for all tasks.

  Experience with inventory management and effective organizational skills.

  Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with computer systems.

  Strong communication skills, engaging professionally with guests and team members alike.

  Previous supervisory experience in hospitality or housekeeping is strongly preferred.
