YMCA of Concord, NH, is seeking a Camp Nurse/EMT for the summer 2025 season! If you are looking for a fulfilling summer job where you can lift up others in your community, gain valuable management experience and cultivate positive culture change – this is the opportunity for YOU!

Our camp, a traditional outdoor summer day camp, serves youth grades Kindergarten - 5th Grade while coaching campers to build relationships, try new things, make memories, and ensure camper safety all while having fun and acting as positive role models. We strive to build supportive and empowering teams to help all team members show up as their best and most authentic selves, so that you can learn, grow and thrive during your tenure at the Y.

The Camp Nurse/EMT supports and oversees camper and staff health and wellness. These responsibilities include caring for sick and injured campers, dispensing medication, responding to emergencies, reviewing camper health records an maintain health logs.

Additional Responsibilities:

- Build positive nurturing relationships with campers

- Build cooperative relationships with coworkers, supervisors and parents

- Engage with campers in a way that fosters Character building

- Uphold the YMCA values of Caring, Honesty, Respect, Responsibility and Courage

Qualifications:

- Must be a current EMT or RN/LPN with current CPR, AED & First Aid Certifications

- Must be available to attend camp trainings before and during camp season

- Able to bring a patient, caring, responsible, flexible and positive attitude to work

Position Specifics:

- Camp season runs June 23th, 2025 through August 22th, 2025, and must be able to work a majority of the camp weeks.
