Job Description - Camp Wediko- Clinical Supervisor

Camp Wediko is hiring temporary Clinical Supervisors at their Windsor, New Hampshire location. Located on 450 lakefront acres, Camp Wediko is a six to eight-week residential summer camp serving youth with social, emotional, and behavioral challenges ranging in age from 8-18 in summer 2026.


The Clinical Supervisor works under the supervision of the Clinical Manager and is responsible for providing direct leadership, management, and supervision of their assigned cabin which includes both staff and students. The Clinical Supervisor collaborates with guardians, residential staff, other program leadership team members, family therapists, and outside providers to ensure that youth are receiving the best treatment and care possible.


How You'll Be Making a Difference



  • Develop and implement individual and group-based treatment interventions using a trauma informed approach.

  • Facilitate daily group therapy sessions.

  • Collaborate regularly with guardians, family therapists, and outside providers about the progress of youth.

  • Facilitate twice weekly clinical supervision and provide coaching, support and professional development opportunities for Residential Counselors and Lead Staff.

  • Complete mid-summer and end of summer performance reviews for Residential Counselors and Lead Staff assigned to same cabin group.

  • Maintain consistency and predictability by utilizing and following programmatic structures, programmatic policies, and maintaining consistent expectations.

  • Teach, model, and utilize behavioral management and de-escalation strategies, including restraints, as taught, and outlined in the training model.

  • Utilize agency policies when responding to emergencies including reporting safety concerns to Program Management, and/or Program Directors.

  • Successfully complete First Aid, CPR, and Medication Distribution Training.

  • Provide ongoing administrative functions, including client documentation, and end of the summer discharge paperwork related to the treatment and care of students in assigned group.

  • Attend and participate in ongoing program leadership and planning meetings.

  • Help plan and implement critical program days throughout the summer including, but not limited to, general staff arrival day, general staff orientation, child arrival day, visitor’s day, and departure days.


Qualifications



  • Completion of an advanced degree in Social Work, Psychology, Sociology, or related human services field.

  • Prior camp work experience.

  • 1-3 years of experience working in a residential or school setting.

  • Working understanding of tiered behavior and support models including MTSS and PBIS.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to approach challenges in a supportive and creative manner.

  • Adaptability in an ever-changing work environment.

  • Familiarity with and ability to use Microsoft Office Programs such as PowerPoint, Excel, and Word to carry out essential job functions.


 


Abilities Required


This position requires the ability to walk the rugged terrain of our outdoor campus, an active wooded setting. Clinical Supervisors will often be outdoors engaging in active recreational activities in the unpredictable summer seasonal elements of New Hampshire. This includes working in hot and humid temperatures and rain. The ability to bend, hold and lift is also required as indicated by behavioral management techniques. Employees are responsible for transportation to one of the pick-up and drop-off locations at the beginning and end of summer (Manchester airport, Boston Logan airport, or direct transport to and from campus). Clinical Supervisors are expected to participate in two weeks of training prior to child arrival day and a week following child departure day to allow time for documentation, debrief, and clean up of the physical campus.
