Overview
Protection of the residents, employees and OFSC property. Maintain floors. Perform light maintenance for the buildings and cottages as well as perform security duties. May require light housekeeping duties.
Shift: Full-Time 10:30p-7a & 2p-10:30p (both shifts include a every other weekend rotation)
Responsibilities
- Pick up walkie talkie in designated area at beginning of shift and return walkie talkie to designated area at the end of shift.
- Contact the Building Services Manager or HK Supervisor on arrival for the shift to obtain information on any emergencies in process, problems that may develop and unusual status of equipment in facilities, and check for functioning walkie talkie equipment.
- Ensure that all external doors by conducting a positive check from the exterior on the 1st external round.
- Accomplish regular rounds of all hallways & lounges of the Main building on all floors and 2nd round external round to the building including the total perimeter of the OFSC grounds, one at the beginning of the shift, immediately following the entry of the 3rd shift personnel, and 1 just prior to the arrival of 3rd shift Security Partner.
- Perform work duties as assigned.
- In the event of an intrusion of the buildings or grounds, immediately contact the Police Immediately by calling 911, Health Center charge nurse, Executive Director/Administrator, by phone or walkie talkie.

Qualifications
- Education and/or Experience: High School diploma or general education degree (GED), or one to three months’ related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Employee must participate in orientation training, attend mandatory in-services and/or other department specified training in-services.
- Computer Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to use the Community’s computerized time clock system
