CANNABIS LABORATORY ACCESSIONER & SAMPLING ASSOCIATE

Description

TEN Healthcare has an opportunity for an accessioning and sampling associate to work in their cannabis lab, Cloud TEN. Under the general supervision of laboratory management, the accessioning and sampling associate will be responsible for the pickup and delivery of cannabis samples to Cloud TEN, assist in day to day tasks including clerical and administrative work where needed. The associate will be responsible for following company protocols and State of Missouri regulations to sample client products and ensure that they are safely returned to the laboratory.

Responsibilities:

• Follow the Cloud TEN Sampling Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to pickup both R&D State of Missouri Compliant samples from clients
• Interact in a professional manner with clients during the scheduled pickups
• Report any issues or complications with the scheduled pickups to the laboratory management immediately
• Be in constant communication with clients to confirm and schedule pickups
• Wear proper PPE and practice aseptic technique when sampling to mitigate potential contamination of samples
• Be able to utilize an analytical balance to weigh out client sample(s)
• Must fill out and return any accompanying paperwork for the sample collection to the laboratory
• Communicate customer feedback to laboratory management when necessary
• Act as a liaison between Cloud TEN and our clients to quickly and articulately disseminate new information that will help ensure the success of their partnership with Cloud TEN.
• Receipt of samples into the lab including verifying client information and proper packaging.
• Review of client orders, chain of custody documentation and laboratory generated reports.
• Entering client and sample data into our laboratory information system and Confident Cannabis portal.
• Performs sample water activity and moisture content testing
• Assists in receiving and stocking new supply orders
• Complete and evaluate daily quality control reports
• Perform other miscellaneous job-related duties delegated by the Cannabis Laboratory management

Requirements

Required Education:

• Minimum requirement: High School Diploma
• Preferred requirement: Bachelor’s degree in chemical, physical, biological or clinical laboratory science.

Required Certification/License:

• 25 years of age, acceptable driving history
