A Canvasser at Greenawalt Roofing Company is responsible for generating leads and promoting our roofing and exterior services directly to homeowners in designated neighborhoods. This role involves engaging with potential customers, explaining our services, and setting up appointments for in-home consultations with our sales representatives. The ideal candidate is personable, enthusiastic, and comfortable working in a target-driven environment. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are self-starters and thrive on performance based compensation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead Generation: Canvass assigned neighborhoods to identify potential customers interested in roofing and exterior services.
• Customer Engagement: Engage with homeowners in a friendly and professional manner to explain the benefits of our services.
• Appointment Setting: Schedule in-home consultations for interested homeowners with our sales representatives.
• Product Knowledge: Maintain a thorough understanding of our roofing and exterior services to effectively communicate their value to potential customers.
• Reporting: Track and report on canvassing activities, including leads generated, appointments set, and customer feedback.
• Follow-Up: Follow up with leads to ensure they have all necessary information and are prepared for their consultation.
• Compliance: Adhere to all company policies, local regulations, and industry best practices during canvassing activities.

Work Environment:

Pay - $15/hr plus weekly commission

Requirements

• Experience: Previous experience in door-to-door sales, canvassing, or customer service is preferred but not required.
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Sales Skills: Strong persuasive skills and a passion for sales and customer service.
• Reliability: Dependable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
• Self-Motivation: Ability to work independently and stay motivated in a target-driven environment.
• Physical Stamina: Comfortable with walking and standing for extended periods.
