Capability Developer Integration, Transition, and Sustainment (C) - Firepower

Job Overview:

This position supports the Maneuver Capabilities Development and Integration Directorate, Soldier Requirements Division, Firepower Branch by managing cross-cutting tasks related to integrating new capabilities, sustaining legacy systems, and transitioning materiel solutions. The role ensures seamless lifecycle management and transition of capability requirements across the Army portfolio. 

Support Hours: Applicant shall be available during core work hours as established the Government customer.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Lead integration efforts for transitioning systems and new capability fielding.
• Develop and update Sustainment CONOPS, STRAPs, and life-cycle support documents.
• Participate in IPTs and configuration management boards.
• Support doctrine and training updates to reflect capability transitions.
• Coordinate obsolescence planning and divestment strategies.
• Advise the Government on lifecycle sustainment solutions and fielding schedules.

Competencies:

• Strong understanding of Army materiel fielding, divestment, and sustainment.
• Ability to manage cross-functional transition efforts.
• Skilled in lifecycle documentation and systems integration.
• Effective communicator and collaborator across stakeholders.

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent military experience in logistics or sustainment.
• 5+ years of experience in capability transition or sustainment support. 
• Must have completed the Combat Developers Course (CDC). 
• Familiarity with STRAPs, JCIDS documents, and Army support systems.
• Experience supporting Army test events and training integration.
