About the Role

As a Capacity Coordinator in our Bulk division, you’ll be at the heart of our logistics engine, responsible for building and strengthening relationships with carrier partners to support our customers' bulk freight needs. You'll work cross-functionally with sales, account management, and the rest of the logistics team to ensure every load is moved efficiently and on time.

What You’ll Do

• Build and maintain strong carrier relationships to support customer freight needs.
• Negotiate transportation rates using internal carrier analytics and industry tools.
• Maintain regular contact with carriers to ensure capacity, availability, and service quality.
• Resolve service issues and collaborate on creative, proactive solutions.
• Source new carrier partners through research, lead generation, and outreach.
• Conduct carrier account reviews to identify opportunities for optimization.
• Leverage market trend data and seasonal insights to make informed decisions.
• Use technology tools, including TMS systems, to streamline communication and improve efficiency.
• Track and trace loads, striving for 100% on-time pick-up and delivery.

Requirements

What You Bring to the Table

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent logistics industry experience
• Previous logistics sales or carrier relations experience is a plus but not required

Skills & Competencies

• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Comfortable in a goal-driven, high-energy environment
• Problem-solving mindset and ability to think critically under pressure
• Self-motivated with an eye for opportunities and improvements
• Collaborative spirit with a passion for building lasting relationships
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite; TMW experience a plus
