REPORTS TO: Cape Coral Campus Pastor

Partner with the work of God at Ocean Church through stewardship of Groups, weekend Guest Experience, Care, and Outreach. The ideal candidate thrives in a high-growth organization where cross-functional collaboration and personal accountability drive success. 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Oversee Guest Experience Ministry


• Ensure the weekend Guest Experience is planned and executed within the standards set by the Campus Pastor


• Recruit & Train Leadership Teams for Connect Central, Hosts, Greeters, Ushers, Communion Teams, Prayer Team, and Parking Lot


• Lead and execute Partnership classes


• Work together with Campus Pastor and Lead Team to ensure the curriculum is within OC standards and represents the heart and vision


• Oversee and execute Water Baptism events


• Develop new ways to improve First Time Guest connection points


• Oversee Groups
  Ministry


• Oversee the curriculum of groups at Ocean Church


• Continually recruit, onboard, disciple, and develop Group leaders and coaches- manage placement, connection, and growth


• Brainstorm strategies to grow off-site group opportunities


• Oversee Pastoral Care Ministry
  
  
  

• Create and maintain Standard Operating Procedures in alignment with the Estero Campus for the following: hospital visits, long term care, sending gifts, funerals, and benevolence


• Oversee Freedom Ministry, Freedom Conference & Freedom Groups


• Oversee, develop, and manage relationships with key outreach partners/organizations


• Establish effective communication channels with local partners/organizations in order to foster productive relationships


• Perform confidential tasks and special projects as needed


• Host weekend services regularly & preach occasional Sunday service 


• Evaluate systems and processes with the mindset of “leave it better than you found it”

WORK SCHEDULE 

Tuesday-Thursday + Sunday

Enjoys interacting with people and being involved with the community.  Gifted at raising up leaders in the church to do the work of the ministry (Ephesians 4:11-16) in Guest Experience (GE), leading groups, providing pastoral care, assimilation, and outreach. Has the capacity to independently and proactively find answers and information, as well as identify and execute needed logistics and tasks. High capacity to simultaneously manage multiple projects and responsibilities. Passionate about discipling young leaders in the Church.
