TITLE: Cape Coral Kids Pastor 

DEPARTMENT: Family

REPORTS TO: Cape Coral Campus Pastor 

Partner with the work God is doing within the students in the Ocean Kids ministry by leading and developing the team of Ocean Kids volunteers and executing weekly gatherings. This will help create an atmosphere of faith, encouragement, worship, and truth for the kids' ministry at Ocean Church.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Champion the overall vision and execution of Ocean Kids at the Cape Coral campus


• Oversee all Ocean Kids volunteers for Ocean Kids gatherings and events


• Continually recruit, onboard, disciple, and develop volunteers – manage placement, connection, and growth


• Develop content and oversee training events for all volunteers


• Oversee the scheduling and coordination of Ocean Kids Volunteer Team


• Create and maintain a healthy volunteer culture


• Brainstorm, develop, and oversee creative ways to care for volunteers, including organizing, directing, and executing volunteer care and events


• Brainstorm, develop, and oversee creative ways to care for Ocean Kids families and create and oversee opportunities for families and volunteers to interact


• Plan, oversee, and promote all Ocean Kids series, events, and projects: project examples include but are not limited to family gifts, Easter and Christmas, new family resources; event examples include but are not limited to Ocean Kids Baptisms, summer activities, Kids Camp, and Family and Worship Events


• Lead events such as the Ocean Kids Team Night and other events


• Oversee the weekly tasks necessary to make weekly gatherings happen with excellence (set-up, tear-down, environment, and purchasing, execution, and organization of all supplies, etc.)


• Oversee Ocean Kids' budget, expenses, and team organization


• Partner with other Ocean Kids staff to ensure congruency and teamwork in all aspects of the ministry
