TITLE: Cape Coral Worship and Production Pastor
DEPARTMENT: Creative
REPORTS TO: Cape Coral Campus Pastor
Partner with the work of God at Ocean Church through supporting, anchoring, and advancing the musical capacity and quality of Ocean Church. This role is designed to lead the house into the presence of God through worship and production.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Champion the heart and culture of Ocean Church Cape Coral to value the presence of God in worship.
Be the bridge with new onboarding volunteers, including, but not limited to, the audition, interview, and implementation process.
Ensure all onboarding process SOPs are updated and adhered to.
Plan, schedule, coordinate, and lead worship for weekend services and other worship experiences outside of the weekend (such as worship nights, staff chapels, team nights, young adults, youth, etc.).
Assist the Music Director with tracks, musician resources needed for PCO, etc.
Connect with and shepherd worship team members through different connection points (phone calls, coffee, social outings, etc.) in an effort to communicate value and deepen discipleship outside of serving.
Continually recruit, onboard, disciple, and develop volunteers – in terms of skill & spiritually.
Assist with musical elements of Ocean Worship projects.
Build and lead the teams that manage sound for all main services and events, ensuring the excellence of digital console operation
Lead and design video switching, LED, and lighting as needed
Ensure consistency, quality, and improvement in all areas of production
Provide feedback and ideas to enhance the worship and experience
Evaluate systems and processes with the mindset of “leave it better than you found it”
Recruit, lead, and train volunteers in audio and basic production roles
Cultivate a culture of ownership, development, and technical confidence
Schedule and coordinate volunteers in collaboration with staff leaders
Keep production areas organized, clean, and fully functional
Track needed upgrades and advocate for improvements when necessary
Provide Production support for the following events:
Youth (Wednesdays 4:30-9:00 pm)
Creative Team Night (one Tuesday/month, 6:00 pm-8:30 pm)

WORK SCHEDULE
Monday-Thursday and Sunday
AN IDEAL INDIVIDUAL
Has 5+ years of experience playing and/or leading with touring level bands. Should be proficient with Ableton, ProTools, and any other relevant software. Undergraduate or graduate-level music education is a plus.
