Our employees are not only part of history, they\u0027re making history.\n\nNorthrop Grumman\u2019s Space Systems sector is seeking a Capture Management Manager 1 in Aurora, CO to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals in our Intelligence Systems Division.\n\nOverview\n\nReporting to the Director of Programs, the Capture Manager leads end\u2011to\u2011end capture efforts within the Intelligence \u0026 Sensing Business Unit (I\u0026S BU) and Ground Enterprise Systems Operating Unit (GES OU), including new, follow on, and task order opportunities. They will support the development and execution of capture strategies, build and coach cross\u2011functional capture teams, and drive proposals that align with Northrop Grumman\u2019s Space Sector priorities. The role works closely with Business Development, Strategy, Technology, Digital Engineering, and Operations, and senior leadership to secure profitable contracts.\n\nRole \u0026 Responsibilities\n\n * Define market segmentation, portfolio positioning, and win\u2011themes\n\n * Develop and manage capture plans, staffing, and budgets\n\n * Conduct competitive, make\u2011buy, and price\u2011to\u2011win analyses\n\n * Form and lead capture teams across functional and geographic boundaries\n\n * Facilitate capture\u2011team meetings, coach team members, and document lessons learned\n\n * Maintain the capture pipeline in Salesforce; perform pipeline analytics\n\n * Serve as the first point of contact for potential customers\n\n * Lead opportunity/award plan reviews with BU leadership\n\n * Oversee development of annotated outlines, win\u2011themes, and discriminators\n\n * Work with Estimating/Pricing to set Basis of Estimate (BOE) detail levels\n\n * Coordinate proposal activities to ensure on time delivery of proposals \u003e $1 M and compliance with RFP specifications\n\n * Advise senior management on capture risks and mitigation strategies\n\n * Partner with Business Development, Technology, Digital Engineering, and Operations to qualify opportunities and build business cases\n\n * Prioritize opportunities against long\u2011range strategic and annual operating plans\n\n\n\n\nBasic Qualifications\n\n * 5 years of relevant experience with a Bachelor\u2019s degree; 3 years of relevant experience with a Master\u2019s degree;\n\n * Demonstrated experience with U.S. government contracts and acquisition processes\n\n * Proven success leading proposals greater than $1 M in value\n\n * Strong analytical skills; ability to handle large data sets across multiple programs\n\n * Strong teamwork and communication skills to ensure changes to plans are fully understood\n\n * Ability to organize, balance and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously in a highly dynamic aerospace manufacturing environment\n\n * Advanced MS Office skills, specifically Excel\n\n * Ability to travel as needed\n\n * Active DoD Top Secret clearance required at the time of application with the ability to obtain SCI access\n\n * US Citizenship is required\n\n\n\n\nPreferred Qualifications\n\n * Experience with Capture efforts\n\n * Excellent critical\u2011thinking, writing, editing, and visual\u2011storytelling skills\n\n * BOE development experience\n\n * Familiarity with Northrop Grumman Space Sector strategies, customers, and priorities\n\n * Proficiency with NG tools: Salesforce, SharePoint, Tableau, Workday, etc.\n\n * Experience driving organizational effectiveness and best\u2011practice operations\n\n * Advanced data\u2011analytics training and practical experience\n\n * Active SCI access\n\n\n\n\nPrimary Level Salary Range: $133,000.00 - $199,600.00\n\nThe above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate\u0027s experience, education, skills and current market conditions.\n\nDepending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
