Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Capture Manager to join our team. As a Capture Manager, you will play a critical role in identifying and pursuing new business opportunities for our company. You will be responsible for leading the capture process from opportunity identification to proposal submission, ensuring that our company is well-positioned to win new contracts.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify potential business opportunities
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and decision makers in the government and commercial sectors
  • Lead the capture process for new business opportunities, including developing capture strategies, identifying teaming partners, and coordinating proposal development
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and refine technical solutions and pricing strategies
  • Conduct competitive analysis and develop win themes and discriminators for proposals
  • Manage the proposal development process, ensuring timely submission of high-quality proposals
  • Develop and maintain a pipeline of potential business opportunities and track progress towards capture and proposal milestones
  • Participate in industry events and conferences to network and promote the company's capabilities
  • Continuously monitor and assess market trends and customer needs to identify new business opportunities for the company

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in capture management, business development, or sales in the government or commercial sector
  • Proven track record of successfully capturing new business and winning contracts
  • Strong understanding of the government and commercial procurement processes
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence decision makers
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Willingness to travel as needed
