As a Car Wash Porter, you will be an integral member of a fast-paced, high-performing team, responsible for presenting our inventory in pristine condition and ensuring flawless quality control and customer experience at every vehicle handoff.

Position Summary

The Car Wash Porter is responsible for maintaining cleanliness, organization, and presentation of dealership vehicles in accordance with Optima standards. This includes exterior and interior vehicle cleaning, lot upkeep, and safe vehicle movement as assigned.

Key Responsibilities

• Vehicle Washing & Drying: Wash, vacuum, and detail vehicles to meet dealership and customer expectations.
• Interior Cleaning: Clean windows, dashboards, cupholders, and surfaces using approved cleaning products.
• Lot Management: Maintain cleanliness and organization of inventory across the lot and staging areas.
• Support Sales/Service: Transport vehicles as requested for service drive or customer deliveries.
• Follow Safety Procedures: Adhere strictly to dealership safety and vehicle movement protocols.
• Other Duties as Assigned: Support general operations and team collaboration as needed.

Salary Description: $16.50 -$18.00 an hour.

Requirements

Qualifications & Requirements

• Must have a valid driver’s license (CA) and clean driving record
• 4 years of driving experience preferred
• Ability to drive automatic and manual transmissions (preferred but not required)
• High attention to detail, urgency, and cleanliness
• Ability to follow verbal instructions and safety guidelines
• Must be able to stand, walk, lift up to 25 lbs, and perform repetitive motions for extended periods

Note: Applicants without a valid driver’s license may be considered for Car Wash Level 1 assignments that do not involve vehicle movement.
