Car Wash/Porter

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Service Porter and Lot Attendant to join our growing car dealership. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the dealership's operations and ensuring a positive experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist in the movement of vehicles on the dealership lot

- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the service area and lot

- Provide support to service technicians and sales staff as needed

- Greet customers and assist with their inquiries

- Ensure that vehicles are properly parked and displayed

- Perform basic maintenance tasks, such as washing and fueling vehicles

- Monitor inventory of vehicles and report any discrepancies

Skills and Qualifications:

- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record

- Basic mechanical knowledge is a plus

- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not required

Job Qualifications

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES)

• 0-3 months related experience
• Valid driver’s license with satisfactory Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) 
• Minimum age of 16 years old
• Ability to wear safety equipment required for the position

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Automotive industry experience
• Utilization of equipment required for the position
• Attention to detail
• Demonstrate dependability and integrity 
• Customer-focused with the ability to communicate directly with customers, vendors and employees

• Maintain a professional appearance and work ethic
