Card Services Representative

POSITION SUMMARY

Primarily responsible for maintaining all aspects of daily card services and ATM operations. Additionally responsible for accommodating incoming member calls and inquiries, research, and resolution for any issues relating to the card services department.

QUALIFICATIONS

Requires an organized and motivated individual with knowledge of credit union products and services. Must be able to embrace and excel with technology in a constantly changing task and payment environment. Must possess excellent communication skills and the ability to diffuse high-stress situations. This position requires patience and the ability to handle sensitive and difficult member conversations with tact and professionalism. Must be able to perform with minimum supervision in a busy team environment while multi-tasking efficiently. Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy are required.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Clear and effective communication abilities required. Must be able to view a terminal screen and operate a computer keyboard. Must be able to sit and/or stand for prolonged periods.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist members by phone, in person, or through computer applications
• Prepare and process new cardholder accounts
• Research transactions on computer systems and card network
• Process card payments and adjustments
• Change addresses accurately on accounts with card records
• Scan, verify, and monitor documents in our imaging system
• Maintain accurate card services documentation, files, and reports
• Provide assistance to branch staff for ATM issues, including cash replenishment, balancing, and check imaging processes
• Additional duties as assigned
