Cardiac Electrophysiology (EP) Specialist - Interventional Cardiology

Join our state-of-the-art Cardiac Catheterization and Electrophysiology Laboratory as a skilled EP Specialist, where you'll be integral to our cardiac care team. This role offers the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology while providing exceptional patient care in a collaborative environment.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Assist physicians during complex cardiac procedures including PTCA, stent placements, and IABP interventions
• Support electrophysiology studies and cardiac ablation procedures
• Monitor and document patient vital signs and hemodynamics
• Operate advanced cardiac imaging and mapping systems
• Maintain and calibrate specialized cardiac equipment
• Participate in emergency cardiac care situations
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and documentation standards

Required Qualifications:

• Graduate from CCAHEP accredited cardiovascular technology program
• Current certification as one of the following:
  • Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES)
  • Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist
  • Cardiovascular Technologist (CV Tech)
  • Registered Radiographer (ARRT)
• 2 years of Electrophysiology experience with EP and ablation devices
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
