CARDIAC REHAB EXERCISE SPEC (PRN, MV SOUTH)

Provides care for patients across the life span in a manner sensitive to social and cultural diversity. B.S. in Exercise Physiology or related field required Experience in Cardiac Monitoring Experience in exercise program planning, supervision and counseling of cardiovascular and pulmonary patients. M.S. in rehabilitative exercise physiology or related field ACLS certification Ability to read and communicate effectively in English with strong interpersonal skills in order to interact with patients, families, physicians and other health team members. Analytical skills necessary to assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care. Ability to prioritize delivery of care based on patient and unit needs. Certification or experience and training equivalent to those specified for an exercise specialist by ACSM Current BLS Certification
