Healthcare United is seeking a full -time Advanced Practice Provider, Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant, to join established cardiology and electrophysiology teams in Connecticut.
This position supports hospital -based cardiology and electrophysiology services, surgical services, outpatient care, diagnostic testing, and inpatient consultations. The APP will provide comprehensive management for patients with cardiac arrhythmias and implantable cardiac devices while collaborating closely with physicians and multidisciplinary clinical teams.
Responsibilities:
• Manage pacemakers, implantable defibrillators, and loop recorders in the inpatient setting
• Provide comprehensive care for patients with cardiac arrhythmias
• Manage anti -arrhythmic medications and anticoagulation therapy
• Assist with inpatient cardiology and electrophysiology consultations
• Coordinate care and support the management of hospitalized patients
• Provide coverage for the stress lab, CCTA, and cardiac MRI services
• Participate in stress testing procedures
• Complete histories and physicals for cardiac electrophysiology surgeries
• Collaborate with physicians to develop individualized inpatient and outpatient treatment plans
• Support medical, surgical, hospital -based, and outpatient cardiology services
Requirements
• Active Connecticut APRN or Physician Assistant license
• Connecticut Controlled Substance Registration
• Active DEA registration
• Previous cardiology experience required
• Electrophysiology experience strongly preferred
• Strong clinical assessment, communication, and care coordination skills
• No visa sponsorship available
