Cardiology Physician (Interventional)

Bassett Healthcare Network, in Central New York is seeking an Interventional Cardiologist to join our staff.

• Salary: $615,000 - $700,000
• Sign-on Bonus: up to $200,000
• Location: Cooperstown, NY

Job Description & Responsibilities

• The faculty practice consists of 15 cardiologists, 2 cardiac surgeons, and 18 advanced practice clinicians. We have an active coronary interventional program, as well as busy EP, structural and open heart programs.  It is a teaching program with 2 new cardiology fellows each year. 
• The role will include diagnostic catheterization, coronary interventions, and an outpatient clinical practice.  An interest in TEE, coronary CT, and PERT interventions would be welcomed.  Interventional call is currently one in three weeknights, with one in 4 weekends.  Our cardiac cath labs have a busy schedule of diagnostic and interventional coronary cases, as well as structural heart disease including percutaneous aortic valve replacement (TAVR), left atrial appendage closure, and patent foramen ovale closure.
• Practice within Bassett Healthcare Network, an integrated system delivering care across an 8-county region
• For qualified candidates, leadership opportunities are available, including potential appointment as Division Chief.

• MD, DO or MBBS
• BC/BE in ABIM Cardiovascular Disease
• Completion of an accredited USA Cardiovascular Disease Fellowship
• New York State Licensure (or eligibility to obtain)
• BLS Certification Required
• DEA required

Compensation

• Salary Range: $615,000 - $700,000
• This compensation range represents Bassett Healthcare’s good faith belief of the compensation range at the time of this posting or advertisement. Salary is based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training, and fair market evaluation based on industry standards
• Sign-On Bonus: up to $200,000
• Bassett offers Physicians an incentive plan with no earnings cap.  Individual performance and productivity can significantly enhance compensation with potential upside realized within the first year of employment.
