Job Description - Cardiopulmonary Manager


Citizens Health is looking for a Cardiopulmonary Manager. The Cardiopulmonary Manager is accountable for administering all aspects of services within the department. Basic accountabilities include responsibility for establishing and achieving quality standards in the delivery of care, selecting and maintaining staff, assuring appropriate continuing education experiences and establishing and accomplishing cost-effective budgeting goals. Functions related to positive medical staff and interdepartmental relations are important aspects of this position.



The Radiology Manager will report to the Ancillary Services Manager .

Family Center for Health Care - an outpatient rural health clinic,


Prairie Senior - a skilled nursing facility,

Citizens Clubhouse - an onsite childcare center that cares for children 6 weeks to school age for our workforce,


Citizens Medical Equipment - our durable medical equipment business.

Location: 100 E College Ave, Colby, Ks



Days: Monday-Friday 



Hours: 8am to 5pm



What you’ll do:



  • Direct the overall operation of the Cardiopulmonary Department.   

  • Assure the continued growth of the department.

  • Assure implementation of applicable hospital and corporate policies and procedures.

  • Complete other duties as assigned.



What you bring to the table: 



  • Radiologist Technologist and Ultrasound Technologist licenses.

  • Current license, certification or registration in the State of Kansas.

  • Great interpersonal skills need to function in a team setting.

  • Organizational ability to plan and supervise activities of the Cardiopulmonary Department staff. 

  • Knowledge of accreditation standards and compliance requirements.

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.

  • Proficient documentation skills.

  • Ability to assess patient needs and develop and implement a comprehensive plan of care.
