• Duties: Required to supervise & provide clinical oversight as appropriate while on call.
• Required Procedures:
- Able to perform heart surgery/focus on cardiac cases.
- General CV/Thoracic Surgery: open, Coronary artery bypass surgery: On & Off-pump.
- Congenital defects (ASD< VSD, PFO, etc)
- Valvular Repair & replacement
- Aneurysm Repair: Cardiac & Aorto-thoracic
- ECMO Cannulation & Patient stabilization for transport to academic center in Denver.
- TAVRs, Lead Extraction, Mitraclips
- Aortic work emphasis a+.
- PREFERRED Procedures: Evaluation & mgmt. of acute vol /BP issues, Insertion of Central Line, Arterial Line, PA catheter & IABP.

Requirements:
• Active CO License or IMLC
• BC
• Must note if able to perform all required procedures & dissections (with recent case logs in excel spreadsheet)
• Able to perform heart surgery/focus on cardiac cases (note yrs of experience)
• Strong surgical case volume
• Active AHA certs/willing to obtain: ACLS & BLS
• Clean record/no malpractice
• COVID vaccination proof
