Cardiovascular Tech

Qualifications:

• Current Ohio licensure as RCIS or RT(R, CV)
  

• Prefer 3 years of catheterization lab experience
  

• Current ACLS and BLS certifications
  

Schedule & Compensation:

• Day shift: 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
  

• Rotating on-call every 3 weeks (evenings/weekends) with 30-minute response time
  

• On-call pay: $4/hour; if called in: 1.5x hourly rate, minimum 1 hour pay
  

• $20,000 retention bonus paid in 3 installments (6, 9, and 12 months) with a two-year commitment

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide cardiovascular care and assist physicians with all cath lab procedures
  

• Set up procedure rooms with appropriate instruments, supplies, and equipment
  

• Monitor EKGs, record pressure tracings, and maintain procedural documentation
  

• Ensure sterile technique and radiation safety are maintained
  

• Support emergency coronary bypass preparation and patient education
  

• Operate and troubleshoot cath lab equipment and digital imaging systems
  

• Track supply usage and support accurate billing and inventory
  

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and demonstrate cardiac pharmacology knowledge
  

• Remove sheaths, document post-care, and assist with closure devices
