Job Summary:

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in cardiovascular surgical procedures as a surgical technologist in the operating room.
• Prepare and maintain the sterile field, ensuring all instruments, supplies, and equipment are ready for use.
• Support the surgical team by providing assistance during procedures, including handling instruments and materials.
• Monitor patients' vital signs and assist with any necessary interventions during surgery.
• Collaborate with surgeons and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal surgical outcomes.
• Maintain accurate documentation of procedures and patient care activities as required.
• Adhere to safety and infection control protocols to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff.

Qualifications:

• Current certification as a Surgical Technologist (CST) preferred.
• Previous experience in a cardiovascular operating room setting preferred.
• Strong understanding of cardiovascular anatomy and surgical procedures.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
