Cardiovascular Technologist

Greenberg-Larraby, Inc. (GLI) is looking to add a dedicated Cardiovascular Technologist to our outstanding team at a well known facility in San Diego!

In this key role, you will assist in evaluating and treating patients with heart and vascular conditions. You will perform a variety of diagnostic tests, including echocardiograms, stress tests, and vascular imaging procedures, helping physicians in the assessment and management of cardiovascular disease.

Your expertise will contribute significantly to patient care, and you will play an essential role in helping patients achieve optimal health outcomes. This position requires a U.S. Citizenship.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform non-invasive cardiovascular tests, including echocardiograms, stress tests, and other imaging procedures.
• Assist physicians in diagnostic procedures and interventions.
• Monitor patient's vital signs and report any significant changes.
• Prepare and maintain cardiac equipment, ensuring it is functioning correctly.
• Document test results and maintain accurate patient records.
• Educate patients about procedures and provide guidance on pre- and post-test care.

Minimum Requirements:

• Associate’s degree in Cardiovascular Technology or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of cardiovascular anatomy and function.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks effectively and work under pressure.
• U.S. Citizenship is required.

• BLS (Basic Life Support) – Required (must be AHA-approved)
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) – Required (must be AHA-approved)
• RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) – Preferred / Strongly Desired
• Certification as a Registered Cardiovascular Technologist (RCVT), Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS), or equivalent credential (ARRT or CCI).
• Education: Completion of an accredited Cardiovascular Technology program preferred; equivalent combination of training and experience accepted per standards.
