Cardiovascular Technologist

Avant Tech is looking for a passionate and experienced Cardiovascular Technologist to join our healthcare team. In this role, you will provide vital support in the diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular issues by conducting various non-invasive procedures and tests. You will work closely with physicians and medical staff while prioritizing patient care and comfort in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Perform non-invasive tests such as echocardiograms, EKGs, and stress tests, sleep test, Pulmonay test.
• Prepare patients for procedures and ensure their comfort throughout the tests.
• Monitor patient vitals during testing and report findings to physicians.
• Maintain, calibrate, and operate cardiovascular testing equipment.
• Document and report test results accurately and promptly.
• Educate patients about the procedures and provide post-test instructions.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team for comprehensive patient care.

• Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Cardiovascular Technology or a related field.
• Registered Cardiovascular Technologist (RCVT) certification or equivalent required.
• At least 1-2 years of clinical experience in cardiovascular diagnostics.
• Knowledge of echocardiography, stress testing, and EKG procedures.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively within a team and provide excellent patient care.

• Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with transesophageal echocardiograms.
• Familiarity with electronic medical records systems.
• BLS and ACLS certification.

Pay Rate: $40.00 – $55.00/hour

Contract Type: W-2 hourly contract for five years

Travel/Relocation Expenses: Not eligible

Duration: 5 years (12/31/2030)

Hours: 8 hours/day, 5 days/week (40 hours/week)
