REQUIRED PROCEDURES

CABG
Thoracic surgery
Vascular surgery
Cardiac surgery
Removal of Chest Tubes
Removal of Pulmonary Artery Catheter
Removal of Epicardial Wires
Removal of Intra Aortic Balloon Pump
Vein and Artery Harvesting

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Board: NCCPA/Board-certified NP
Licenses: Active Ohio License
DEA: Active DEA
Certifications: ACLS
Experience: Minimum 1 year surgical experience
NOTE: Would consider an NP if they are also an RNFA and have open heart surgical experience

Duties & Responsibilities

Assist with cardiac, thoracic, and vascular surgeries (elective and emergent)
Perform hospital rounding on surgical patients
Provide assistance in clinic
Take night and weekend call
Perform procedures such as removal of chest tubes, pulmonary artery catheter, epicardial wires, intra aortic balloon pump, and vein/artery harvesting
