Position Summary: Under general supervision, performs a variety of back-office functions and assists members with their financial needs and problems via telecommunications.

Schedule: Approximately 40 hours within a Monday through Friday work week

Responsibilities:

  • Monitoring lost or stolen credit cards; ordering, re-issuing, maintaining, and processing rush order cards.
  • Ordering My Card Creation and Instant Issuance cards.
  • Ordering Instant Issue card stock as requested by branches.
  • Researching transaction information in Fiserv.
  • Monitoring and researching fraud cases in Fiserv Case Management and 3D Secure; updating member information related to case management.
  • Processing disputes and dispute letters in accordance with Visa operating and Regulation E regulations.
  • Collaborating with members, employees, Fiserv, and Visa/MasterCard to resolve card issues.
  • Processing closed account/card reports.
  • Tracking and processing reissued card returns.
  • Perform any additional duties assigned by the VP/Cards & Payment Systems. 

Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Thorough understanding of Westmark’s products and services.
  • Familiarity with Summit and Fiserv systems.
  • Ability to complete all required annual training.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Professional and courteous communication in all situations.
  • Proficient in using personal computers, 10-key devices, and Westmark’s telecommunication equipment.
  • General knowledge of functions performed by each Westmark branch/department.

Minimum Requirements

  • At least one year of relevant experience.
  • Excellent oral communication skills.
  • Pleasant and easily understood phone voice.

  • Positive and enthusiastic attitude.
  • Reliable attendance and accountability for personal actions.
  • Represent the credit union in a courteous and professional manner at all times.
  • Adherence to all policies and regulations.

Physical Requirements:

  • Manual Dexterity and hand-eye coordination for tasks such as typing and operating office equipment.
  • Sitting for extended periods of time.
  • Visual and auditory abilities to understand and communicate with the public.
  • Repetitive motion using wrists, hands, and fingers. 
  • Occasionally lift and carry up to 15 lbs., if required for departmental tasks.
