Care Assistant

University Home Care Inc is seeking compassionate and dedicated Care Assistants to join our team in Chelsea, MI. As a Care Assistant, you will provide essential support and care to our clients, helping improve their quality of life through personalized assistance and companionship.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility.


• Provide medication reminders and monitor clients’ health and well-being.


• Support clients with meal preparation and feeding when necessary.


• Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a safe and clean environment.


• Accompany clients to appointments, errands, and social activities.


• Communicate effectively with clients, their families, and healthcare professionals.


• Document daily care activities and observations accurately.

Requirements

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.


• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.


• Compassionate, patient, and reliable with a strong work ethic.


• Must be able to pass background checks as required.


• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
