Field Medical Assistant

Location: Boise, ID
Pay Rate: $23.00 – $26.00 per hour (based on experience)
Schedule: Monday – Friday | Hybrid

About the Role

Senior Doc is seeking a dedicated Field Medical Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will work directly alongside providers, traveling to patient homes and senior living communities to deliver high-quality, compassionate care.

This is a hands-on, patient-facing position ideal for someone who enjoys being in the field, supporting providers, and making a direct impact on patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Travel with providers to patient homes and senior living facilities


• Assist with patient visits, including vitals, documentation, and care support


• Support providers during exams and procedures in the field


• Accurately document patient information in the EMR


• Help coordinate follow-up care and communicate with the care team


• Provide basic patient education and support to patients and families


• Ensure all equipment and supplies are prepared and maintained for field visits


• Maintain professionalism while representing Senior Doc in the community

Qualifications

• Medical Assistant Diploma or Certification required


• Previous experience in a clinical setting required


• Field-based or home health experience preferred


• Comfortable traveling locally and working in a mobile care environment


• Strong communication and organizational skills


• Ability to work independently while supporting a provider in the field
