The Oregon Health Authority (OHA), Public Health Division (PHD), HIV, STD and TB Section is seeking multiple CAREAssist Case Worker (Program Analyst 1) to support individuals living with HIV in accessing essential medical care and treatment resources. In this role, you will provide technical assistance to clients and health professionals, deliver individualized care coordination, and ensure continuity of care through the AIDS Drug Assistance Program (ADAP). Your work will help maintain access to life-saving HIV treatment and improve health outcomes for those we serve.

The HIV, STD and TB Section is dedicated to early detection and response to public health concerns through surveillance, epidemiologic studies, intervention, education, and direct preventive action. Our programs serve all Oregonians and collaborate closely with local health departments, healthcare providers, community-based organizations, and other state agencies.

Minimum Qualifications: These qualifications must be reflected in your application for consideration.

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Business or Public Administration, Behavioral or Social Sciences, or a degree related to the agency program that demonstrates the capacity for the knowledge and skills

OR

  • Any combination of experience or education equivalent to three years technical-level experience that typically supports the knowledge and skill requirements listed for the classification.

Note: Relevant knowledge and experience may include work in program coordination, service delivery, or roles involving direct interaction with people and resource management.

  • This announcement is for 2, full-time, permanent, representation type: SEIU represented, CAREAssist Case Worker (Program Analyst 1) based in Portland, Oregon.

  • Employment is contingent upon a criminal records check that meets OHA criteria at the time of hire and throughout employment.
  • The salary listed is the non-PERS qualifying range. If the successful candidate qualifies for PERS, the salary range will increase by 6.95%. For more information, see the Classification and Compensation page.
