RVP Consultants is seeking experienced Career Coaches for a two-week, in-person international assignment in Jordan as part of the Brilliant Global Competitions – IoT & Sustainable Smart Cities program.

You will work with students ages 12–18 whose first language is not English, helping young innovators turn their hands-on STEM experience into career-ready skills in personal branding, communication, leadership, entrepreneurship, interviewing, and pitching.

You'll also connect students with U.S.-based industry professionals through live virtual sessions, bringing real-world career, engineering, and entrepreneurship perspectives into the program.

Round-trip international airfare, accommodation, meals, airport transportation, and local program transportation are provided.

About the Program

The Brilliant Global Smart Cities Competition gives students the opportunity to design and build smart city solutions using real-world IoT and engineering technology.

During Career & Entrepreneurship Readiness, students build the professional, leadership, and entrepreneurial skills needed to present their work and prepare for future educational and career opportunities.

 

What You'll Do

• 
  

  Deliver and co-facilitate Career & Entrepreneurship Readiness activities during the two-week program phase.

  
  


• 
  

  Coach students in personal branding, CV/resume development, professional communication, interview preparation, and presentation skills.

  
  


• 
  

  Guide students in developing a LinkedIn profile or age-appropriate digital portfolio and personal brand statement.

  
  


• 
  

  Help students develop and confidently present pitch decks for their smart city solutions.

  
  


• 
  

  Introduce practical concepts in leadership, innovation, career readiness, and entrepreneurship.

  
  


• 
  

  Coordinate live virtual sessions with Talent Acquisition Professionals, Real-World Engineers, and Entrepreneurship & Innovation Experts.

  
  


• 
  

  Assess student deliverables and provide clear, individualized written feedback.

  
  


• 
  

  Collaborate with on-site BGC Coaches and RVP program staff.
  
   

  
  

Required Qualifications

• 
  

  Bachelor's degree required; relevant field preferred.

  
  


• 
  

  3+ years of relevant experience in career coaching, career development, talent development, HR, workforce development, student career services, or a related field.

  
  


• 
  

  Experience coaching, mentoring, teaching, or developing youth, students, or emerging professionals.

  
  


• 
  

  Experience with CV/resume development, interviewing, personal branding, professional communication, or career-readiness training.

  
  


• 
  

  Strong coaching, facilitation, communication, and engagement skills.

  
  


• 
  

  Ability to make professional-development concepts accessible to students whose first language is not English.

  
  


• 
  

  Cultural sensitivity and ability to work effectively in an international environment.

  
  


• 
  

  Ability to meet applicable entry and international travel requirements for Jordan.
  
  
  
   

  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• 
  

  Career coaching, career counseling, HR, talent development, or related certification/training.

  
  


• 
  

  Experience with STEM, engineering, technology, innovation, or entrepreneurship.

  
  


• 
  

  Experience working with middle- or high-school-aged students.

  
  


• 
  

  Prior international or cross-cultural coaching/training experience.
