Career Nanny Manager for a Family Near Inman Park

A professional family is seeking an experienced full-time nanny to care for their 18-month-old daughter. She is a happy, affectionate toddler who enjoys music, trying different foods, playgrounds, splash pads, swimming, and exploring the world around her. While naturally more reserved, she thrives on social interaction and is beginning to develop her communication skills. The parents are looking for a nanny who will encourage her to use her voice, foster her confidence, and support her upcoming potty-training journey.

The family follows a Montessori-inspired philosophy that emphasizes independence, giving her opportunities to self-soothe, problem-solve, and learn new skills with gentle guidance. They seek a patient, nurturing, creative, and engaging professional who enjoys planning educational activities and outings while providing a structured, supportive environment. Calm, consistent redirection and age-appropriate boundaries are central to the family's approach.

Responsibilities & Expectations

While childcare is the primary focus, the family requires a self-starting nanny who takes initiative and naturally anticipates household needs without direct instruction. Responsibilities include:

• Keeping the child's spaces clean and organized
  




• Assisting with grocery shopping and light meal preparation
  




• Managing the child's laundry
  




• Maintaining a tidy home throughout the day
  

A weekly housekeeper is employed, so deep cleaning is not required. However, the expectation is that spaces are tidied immediately after activities, ensuring the house is consistently left neat and organized before outings and at the end of the shift.

The ideal candidate is highly attentive, respectful of household routines and boundaries, and genuinely interested in building a long-term relationship. Flexibility for occasional travel and emergency overnight care is highly valued. Spanish-speaking candidates are welcome, and a valid passport is required for future travel.

Schedule

• Monday, Wednesday, and Friday: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
  




• Tuesday and Thursday: 11:00 AM – 5:00 PM
  

Compensation & Benefits This position includes health benefits, a comprehensive benefits package, and a 401(k) plan.  Pay will range from $56,000 - $73,000 depending on experience.
