Caregiver

Description of the role:

As a caregiver at University Home Care in Saline, MI, you will be responsible for providing compassionate care to our clients in their homes. This role involves assisting with daily tasks and activities, providing emotional support, and ensuring the overall well-being of those in your care.

Responsibilities:

• Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, and toileting


• Provide companionship and emotional support


• Assist with meal preparation and medication reminders


• Help clients with light housekeeping tasks


• Follow care plans and communicate effectively with healthcare professionals

Requirements:

• Able to work independently 


• Compassionate and reliable individual


• Ability to follow instructions and communicate effectively


• Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation


• High school diploma or equivalent
