Caregiver

Preferred Care at Home of Westchester & Putnam is recruiting caregivers to join our team. We provide care to older adults and senior citizens in the comfort of their own home or wherever they call home. 

Some of the tasks required of a Caregiver are:

• Companionship


• Medication reminders


• Grooming reminders and assistance


• Preparing and cooking meals


• Light housekeeping, general clean-up, and laundry


• Shopping and errands


• Transport and escort to doctor appointments, etc.

DRIVERS ARE NEEDED, but not required for all positions.

Certifications are preferred Home Health Aid (HHA), Personal Care Aide (PCA), Certified Nurses Assistant (CNA), not required for all positions. 

Salary: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 4 hour shift


• 12 hour shift


• 8 hour shift


• Day shift


• Holidays


• Monday to Friday


• Night shift


• On call


• Weekend availability


• Live-in

Work Location: Multiple Locations in Westchester, Putnam, and Southern Dutchess Counties.
