Caregiver

University Home Care Inc is seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide exceptional in-home care to our clients in Inkster, MI. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for individuals who need assistance with daily living activities while promoting their independence and wellbeing.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting


• Help with mobility and transferring to prevent falls and injuries


• Prepare and serve meals according to dietary guidelines


• Perform light housekeeping duties including laundry and cleaning


• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients


• Monitor client’s health and report any changes or concerns to supervisory staff


• Medications reminder as needed 


• Maintain accurate records of services provided and client progress

Requirements

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills


• Ability to handle physical demands of the job


• Reliable and trustworthy with a genuine desire to help others


• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation


• Ability to pass background checks
