Caregiver

University Home Care Inc is seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to join our team in Manchester, MI. As a Caregiver, you will provide essential support to our clients, helping them maintain their independence and improve their quality of life. This role requires empathy, patience, and a genuine desire to make a positive impact in the lives of others.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.


• Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance clients’ well-being.


• Help with mobility and medication reminders as needed.


• Maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for clients.


• Document and report any changes in client condition or concerns to supervisory staff.


• Collaborate with family members to make sure the comprehensive care is being done.

Requirements

• Previous experience in caregiving or a related field is beneficial.


• Ability to communicate effectively and compassionately with clients and team members.


• Reliable transportation to and from client locations in Manchester, MI if needed.


• Basic knowledge of first aid and emergency procedures.


• Background check clearance as required by law.
