Caregiver

University Home Care Inc is seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to join our team in Canton, MI. This role involves providing high-quality, personalized care to our clients in their homes, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.


• Provide medication reminders and monitor clients’ health and well-being.


• Help with mobility and transportation to appointments or errands.


• Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe environment.


• Offer companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive and respectful relationship.


• Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals regarding client care and condition.

Requirements

• Compassionate, patient, and reliable with strong interpersonal skills.


• Ability to handle physical demands of the job including lifting and assisting with mobility.


• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for travel within the Canton, MI area.


• Flexible availability to meet clients’ scheduling needs.


• Pass background check as part of the hiring process.
