Caregiver

Village Caregiving in Batesville, IN is seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to join our team in Metamora, IN and surrounding areas. This role offers a rewarding opportunity to provide essential support and companionship to individuals in need, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily living activities including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication reminders.


• Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance clients’ quality of life.


• Monitor and report any changes in clients’ health or behavior to the appropriate healthcare professionals.


• Maintain a safe and clean environment for clients by performing light housekeeping tasks.


• Communicate effectively with clients, their families, and the care team to ensure consistent and compassionate care.

Requirements

• Previous caregiving experience is preferred but not required; we provide training.


• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a genuine desire to help others.


• Ability to follow instructions, maintain confidentiality, and work independently.


• Reliable transportation to commute to client locations in Metamora, IN.


• Certification in CPR and First Aid is a plus.
