Caregiver 6am-2pm Full Time

Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver/CNA to join our team at Brickmont of Woodstock in Woodstock, Georgia. As a Caregiver/CNA, you will provide personalized care and assistance to our residents in a warm and homelike environment. This is a full-time, hourly position in the healthcare/medical field, and you will work independently as an individual contributor. The compensation for this role is $16.50 to $17.50 per hour, paid biweekly.

Responsibilities:
- Provide direct care and assistance to residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility
- Take and record vital signs and report any changes to the appropriate healthcare professionals
- Help residents with medication management and ensure all medications are taken according to prescribed instructions
- Observe and report any changes in residents' health or behavior to the nurse and/or supervisor
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding as needed
- Foster a safe and comfortable environment for residents by maintaining a clean and organized living space
- Build positive relationships with residents, families, and team members
- Provide emotional support and companionship to residents
- Participate in care planning meetings and document all care provided accurately and promptly

Requirements:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a caregiver or CNA in a healthcare setting
- Knowledge of basic care techniques and infection control practices
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Empathetic and patient demeanor
- Must pass a background check and drug screening
