Job Duties Include

• Provide non-medical assistance and companionship to senior clients in their homes 
• Offer Hygiene Assistance – Bathing, Grooming, and Dressing 
• Perform Meal preparation/diet monitoring, including grocery shopping 
• Manage medication schedule and reminders 
• Aide in Light Housekeeping and Laundry Duties 
• Ambulation/Mobility Assistance
• Provide client with transportation to errands and doctor's appointments 

Position Requirements:

• A dedication and passion for serving seniors, with a strong sense of responsibility
• Ability to work in a personal, one-on-one care environment
• 1+ years of hands-on experience, either in a private home or facility
• Must have High school diploma or GED
• Current CNA certification preferred, not required  
• Valid Driver’s License, reliable car available during work hours, and current car insurance 
• Verifiable references from the facilities you have worked for in the past, including contact information and dates of previous employment 
• Experience in caring for Alzheimer’s/Dementia patients is a plus  
• Ability to pass DMV, Criminal Background Check and Drug Screen

This position is open at our Schererville, IN office and will require travel to client homes within Schererville, Valparaiso, and surrounding communities.
