Caregiver Assistant

Description of the role:

University Home Care Inc in Inkster, MI is seeking a caring and compassionate Caregiver Assistant to join our team. As a Caregiver Assistant, you will work closely with our residents to provide assistance with daily activities and ensure their comfort and well-being.

Responsibilities:

• Assist residents with personal care tasks, such as bathing and dressing


• Provide companionship and emotional support to residents


• Help with meal preparation and feeding


• Assist with light housekeeping duties


• Report any changes in residents' health or behavior to the supervising nurse

Requirements:

• Pass a background check 


• Two forms of ids 


• Own/ reliable transportation 


• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills


• Ability to lift and move residents as needed


• Compassionate and patient demeanor
