Caregiver Assistant

University Home Care Inc is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver Assistant to join our team in Warren, MI. The ideal candidate will provide essential support to clients, helping them maintain their independence and improve their quality of life in a home care setting.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.


• Provide companionship and engage clients in meaningful activities to promote mental and emotional well-being.


• Help with light housekeeping tasks to ensure a safe and clean environment.


• Monitor and report any changes in the client’s health or behavior to the supervisor.


• Follow care plans and instructions provided by healthcare professionals.


• Maintain accurate records of care and services provided.

Requirements

• Own transportation 


• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.


• Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting or transferring clients.


• Reliable, punctual, and compassionate with a genuine desire to help others.


• Must be able to pass background checks required .
